Man suffers facial injuries after BIFF on the F3



Police have been told a white van approached a blue sedan in lane 3 at Mooney Mooney on the F3 Freeway (M1 Pacific Motorway) on the NSW Central Coast. The van driver flashed his lights a number of times before allegedly undertaking the sedan in lane two.

The sedan then moved into Lane 1 and a short time later the white van collided with the sedans front driver side.

The vehicles stopped and both drivers approached each other and began to biff until other drivers stopped and broke up the fight.

During the fight, the 40-yo van driver punched the blue sedan driver, aged 42.

The sedan driver, who had been travelling with his wife and two children, was taken by ambulance to Gosford Hospital for treatment of facial injuries.

Officers issued the van driver with a future court attendance notice. He will appear in Gosford Local Court on 22 October 2013 to answer charges of menacing driving and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
