Southbound motorists on the motorway will use a dedicated U-turn area just north of the St Helena Tunnel to travel to Myocum and for those travelling from Byron Bay to Myocum.
Northbound motorists will detour via Tyagarah Rd to Byron Bay and for those travelling from Myocum to Byron Bay.

From 4am Friday 29 May the southbound carriageway will open to 3 lanes and the speed remain at 80km/h between Doyalson (Motorway) Link Rd, Doyalson and just south of Alison Rd, Alison.
