The Queensland state government has imposed restrictions at the NSW-QLD border as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Heavy vehicles travelling from New South Wales to Queensland:

– 6am to 10pm use the Gold Coast Hwy. 

– 10pm to 6am use the M1 Pacific Mwy. 

Border control measures can change quickly with people intending to travel from NSW to Queensland advised to visit the website for up to date information on those eligible to travel, those who must obtain a border declaration pass, those who must quarantine and those ineligible to cross the border.
