COVID-19 Border Pass Requirements for Freight 1:25 am – M1 Pacific Motorway Tweed Heads approaching Queensland border Northbound traffic affected.

The Queensland state government has imposed restrictions at the NSW-QLD border as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Heavy vehicles intending to travel from New South Wales to Queensland must use the Gold Coast Highway and have a valid Freight and Logistics Pass (F Pass).

Heavy vehicles travelling from New South Wales to Queensland:

– 6am to 10pm use the Gold Coast Hwy. 

– 10pm to 6am use the M1 Pacific Mwy.

Border control measures can change quickly. Heavy vehicle operators are advised to visit the QLD Government website for up to date information on those eligible to travel and border pass requirements.
