If you are trapped by the flooding at Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour you can either;

(1) drive North on the A1 Pacific Highway to Grafton Exit (Big River way) then at the end go left at the roundabout onto B76 Gwydir Highway. It will be a long and Windy drive until you reach A15 New England Highway at Glen Innes. Then follow the A15 back towards Armidale which will take you South towards Newcastle/Sydney (M1 Exit). (2) Or, from Coffs Harbour CBD take Harbour Drive, West High Street, Coramba Drive, Gale St, Orara Way, Eastern Dorigo Way, then you will be on the B78 Waterfall Way which will eventually take you back to the A15 New England Highway. Looks like a lot of cars are taking this way
