Northconnex opened in the early hours of Saturday morning. Northconnex is a new underground motorway connecting the M1 Pacific Motorway at Wahroonga to the M2 Hills Motorway at West Pennant Hills.
The motorway allows motorists to save up to 29 minutes on a Friday afternoon travelling from West Pennant Hills to the M1.
It only takes 6 mins to travel from one end to the other during offpeak times.
