The Queensland state government has imposed restrictions on cross-border movements as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

• Queensland, Heavy & Exempt vehicles should remain on the motorway
• All other vehicles must exit onto the Gold Coast Hwy where there will be a police checkpoint

Exemptions include freight, emergency vehicles and emergency workers, people travelling to and from work, court orders including family court, compassionate grounds and medical treatment.

During peak travel periods, particularly weekday mornings, extensive delays may be experienced by motorists travelling into Queensland.
