Thousands of music fans are expected to attend the annual Byron Bay Bluesfest at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, just north of Byron Bay over the Easter Long Weekend from Thursday 1 to Monday 5 April.

Traffic may be heavier than usual on the M1 Pacific Motorway at Tyagarah, and Ewingsdale Rd and Gulgan Rd interchanges on approach to the event. Local roads around Tyagarah may also be busy. 

Motorists should allow extra travel time and be aware of increased pedestrian activity.
