M1 Bush fire Watch Friday 20th Dec 2019

Friday 20th December 2019 – There is no predicted bushfire impact to the M1 today (Friday 20th December 2019), however it is important that you check this website regularly and the Bushfire Map before you travel as the situation may change quickly and without notice.

Today’s updated forecast: Partly cloudy. Light winds becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the early afternoon then tending easterly in the late afternoon.

Saturday will be Hot (catastrophic fire danger rating) with a top temperature of 41 degrees expected at Somersby. Partly cloudy. Areas of smoke haze. Light winds becoming west to northwesterly 15 to 25 km/h in the middle of the day then shifting southerly 35 to 50 km/h in the evening.
