Large crowds are expected to attend the annual 3-day Splendour in the Grass music festival in North Byron Parklands.

There will be an increase in traffic volumes on roads approaching the Parklands site including the M1 Pacific Mwy (particularly at the Yelgun Interchange), Tweed Valley Way, Brunswick Valley Way and Yelgun Rd as crowds arrive on Wednesday and Thursday, and on Monday as festival goers leave.

Changed traffic conditions and traffic control will be in place on approach to the event site.

Festival goers are encouraged to allow plenty of extra travel time, carpool where possible and follow the directions of traffic controllers when accessing the site.
