Traffic switch:  

New arrangements are now in place for motorists on Sparks Rd heading for either the M1 Pacific Mwy towards Newcastle, or Doyalson Link Rd towards Doyalson/Swansea.  

Westbound motorists on Sparks Rd use a new G-loop road to head north. The new G-loop joins a separated M1 northbound lane to merge with traffic that has come from Sparks Rd eastbound. 

Northbound traffic continues on the separated road and either travels left onto Doyalson Link Rd towards Doyalson/Swansea or right (under the overpass) to join the M1 Pacific Mwy towards Newcastle.

The lane configuration has changed for northbound motorists travelling from Sparks Rd on-ramp to either M1 Pacific Mwy or Doyalson Link Rd. Motorists should be prepared for changed merge conditions.
